The photo of the day!
This is my project where I post a photo taken that day to this "Daily Photo" gallery, which is linked to the Daily Photo community on Smugmug.
This project has been quite interesting for me and has had many benefits for me. I see more. I take better photos. I learn about photography. I have no training at all, so my technical skill is non existent, but I like to think I capture some interesting slices of life in our time. This was the first year of my daily photo project. March 5, 2009 Daily Photo. Day 365.
View from the West Village toward Hoboken and Jersey City. Usually I am taking photos from the opposite side of the Hudson in the park in front of the building with the two pyramids you can see on the middle right. Thought it would be interesting to take a pic from this side but the light got away from me and I had no tripod so this will have to do. You really need to look at this as large as you can.
In the end, I did what I always do in choosing my 365th daily photo. I just took photos when I could (which was after work) and then picked the one I liked the best.
Thanks for all of your comments and good wishes over the past year. I will keep posting a photo every day but I won't guarantee that I took it that day. I may just edit and post one from another day.
