The photo of the day!

This is my project where I post a photo taken that day to this "Daily Photo" gallery, which is linked to the Daily Photo community on Smugmug.

This project has been quite interesting for me and has had many benefits for me. I see more. I take better photos. I learn about photography. I have no training at all, so my technical skill is non existent, but I like to think I capture some interesting slices of life in our time. This was the first year of my daily photo project. You can see the year two gallery here: http://inourtime.smugmug.com/gallery/7530427_zJAuW/1/486314056_XnTHi

InOurTime > March 11, 2008 Daily Photo. This great building, St. Andrew's church, is completely surrounded by the federal courthouse on one side and the federal detention facility on the other and the municipal building across a narrow plaza. It was re built in 1958. The first church on the site was built in 1842 and must have served the great waves of Irish immigration.
InOurTime > March 10, 2008. The new tower to the old Lackawanna Ferry & Train Station in Hoboken. Most days I have to use a small camera that I can conveniently take with me to work so the quality is not that great. P.S. The clock on the new tower doesn't work.
InOurTime > March 9, 2008 Daily Photo. This is a sign for an art supply and stationary store that was on Washington Street in Hoboken and is long closed. I remember when it was open and going in there several times with an artist friend of mine. I wonder how long the sign will last.
InOurTime > 3/8/08 It's cold, windy & raining, so this will have to do for my third Daily Photo. It's the old Hoboken Lackawanna Ferry Terminal and Train Station.
InOurTime > 3/7/08 There is a lot going on in this photo. I saw the scene and whipped out my camera and snapped before it got away.
InOurTime > 3/6/08 My first Daily Photo!

Tree with City Hall and the Woolworth Building.
