This is the second year of my taking Daily Photos and posting one to the Daily Photo gallery each day. The photo you see was taken the day it was posted ( with very few exceptions so far in the second year and no exceptions in the first year). The second year started on March 6, 2009.

You can see the year one gallery here: http://inourtime.smugmug.com/gallery/4468382_VLaHW/1/485853915_kBMcj

7 World Trade Center.

Lots to see in this photo if you look closely. I like this one.

Christmas Lights and Tree, Hoboken, New Jersey.

It was raining hard most of the day and finally let up after 7. This is cropped and was the only one of about a dozen shots that wasn't too blurry to even use. Not that this isn't blurry, but I like the color. Hopefully, tomorrow's pic will be better!

Metrotech Christmas tree and lights. Metrotech is like a corporate park in downtown Brooklyn, not far from Brooklyn Heights and the main downtown area. This was just a quick snap of the tree with the G9 on my way home from work. It was 28 degrees and I am not used to this weather yet. It was freezing today.

Brooklyn Borough Hall decorated for the holidays.

They do have an actual "Christmas Tree" right in back of where I was standing when I took this and a large (like 15 feet high) Menorah a little bit further away.

OK, so Tuesday I gave you part of Hoboken's holiday display and yesterday was Manhattan's Municipal Building gussied up with a big wreath and today it's Brooklyn's Borough Hall. That's it for the tour of municipal displays because I am not going to Queens or Staten Island or the Bronx anytime soon...lol.

Nothing much photographically but just a slice of life in my area. (My office is in Brooklyn).

"Season's Greetings"

The Municipal Building, Manhattan.

I do like to get those speeding cabs in my shots.

This is for George.....

Creche in part of Hoboken's "Holiday" display at City Hall. The light inside the creche is too bright.

They also have a Menorah, not yet lit, about 25 feet away as well Santa and his reindeer on a balcony. Tonight was a ceremony where they lit all the lights as part of the various displays. No big tree though, just some lights on two trees that I think are always there.

Not all of my photos can be winners....lol

One of the Saks Fifth Avenue Christmas windows. People line up to take a look and wind their way past the windows. I was able to steal this shot quickly. I didn't get on the line as I don't do lines very well and I wouldn't have gotten a shot if I was too close, which I would be if I was in the line. I cropped this slightly. I have no idea what this has to do with Christmas...I'm sure it's a "holiday" window.....LOL....

Snowflakes on the side of the Saks Fifth Avenue building across from Rockefeller Center.

Thanks for all the comments on last night's photo. You all are very gracious.
