This is the second year of my taking Daily Photos and posting one to the Daily Photo gallery each day. The photo you see was taken the day it was posted ( with very few exceptions so far in the second year and no exceptions in the first year). The second year started on March 6, 2009.

InOurTime > January 10th, 2009 Daily Photo. Turns out my niece is a big fan of "Cake Boss", so when she visited today, we went to Carlo's since I live very close to it. The little guy is my nephew.
InOurTime > January 9th, 2009 Daily Photo. Columns of light. Bank detail. So....I started my first ever photography course today. The course is given right here in Hoboken, albeit a 25 minute, 21 degree walk from my home. It is a 12 week course, one 2 hour class per week. I found the first class interesting. There are only 5 students in the class. There is a homework assignment....basically it's taking photos in different light situations, using different brightness, direction, color, contrast, specularity and diffuseness. After the class, it was a rush to my gym for a noon work out with my personal trainer and then it was a quick lunch and time for a nap....lol...

InOurTime > January 4th, 2009 Daily Photo. St. John's Lutheran Church, Christopher Street, Manhattan. Still freezing here in NYC and Hoboken but I managed to take this tonight.
InOurTime > January 3, 2009 Daily Photo. (Taken 2-12-06) Central Park West in a snowstorm. This is from the "archives" as they say. It was just too damn cold to go looking for a photo today. A version of this has been in my Central Park gallery but I edited it a bit today. It is one of my favorite pics that I have taken.
InOurTime > January 2, 2009 Daily Photo. Carlo's City Hall Bake Shop line in the 21F degree cold. Ever since this TV show with the owner of this place became a hit ("Cake Boss", I think is the name, I've never watched it myself), this place has huge lines on the weekends, and I think I've posted a photo of it before. I saw this line tonight at 6pm when the temperature was 21 F. I'd need a really good reason to stand in line in this weather and some cake sure ain't it. I live real close by and they have good stuff and I've been going there for years, but generally to bring something to someone's house or if I'm having guests.
