InOurTime > 9/20/08 Daily Photo. Day 199.

I rode my bike 23.5 miles today and here is my proof.

The George Washington Bridge from the Palisades Interstate Park. About 11 miles from Hoboken. I had to stand in the roadway to take photos and while there aren't too many cars, there are enough that you have to be careful. Also, I didn't have a helmet and there was a sign that said they were required on that roadway in the park, so I basically snapped a few pics and turned around. The bridge is about a half mile into the park and is above you. It's a tad disorienting...for me anyway. The original plan called for those towers to be encased in concrete in the Art Deco style, but since it looked so good without the concrete, they left it off.

My new spedometer/odometer let's me track my speed and distance.

Fire Island Sunset over the Great South Bay.
InOurTime > 8/24/08 Daily Photo. Day 172.

Hands on a wall, Hoboken.

Part of a mural celebrating the 150th anniversary of Hoboken, which was in 2005. In my panorama gallery, I have a couple of shots of the larger mural.
InOurTime > May 10, 2008 Daily Photo. Day 66. The beach at Fire Island. Much nicer than yesterday. I put a few other non beach scene in the runner's up gallery.
InOurTime > This was taken in Burlington, Vermont toward the end of a really cool day (and after a fair number of drinks...so it's amazing that it came out OK.)

InOurTime > 9/10/08 Daily Photo. Day 189.

Forgive my repetition, but I thought this was a better shot than the one from Monday. Strangely, as I was taking a few shots, the lights went out and it was only like 8:30pm. In any event, I put them in a new gallery " WTC Tribute Lights".

I also put a few other night shots in the daily runner's up gallery.
InOurTime > September 11, 2008 Daily Photo. Day 190.

World Trade Center Tribute Light from Pier A park, Hoboken, New Jersey.

57 people from Hoboken died at the World Trade Center.

7 years ago I got off the PATH train at the WTC after the first plane had already hit. It was all very unreal. It still is. But, this morning I got off the PATH train at the WTC as I do every work day like thousands of others who rode it that day also.
InOurTime > May 2, 2008 Daily Photo. Day 58. Something a little different for me. This is a lamppost in front of Brooklyn Borough Hall.
