Bicycle rider on 18th street.

I took this outside of Adorama camera where I was picking up some prints...( .96 for an 8x10 glossy..it's usually a bit more but still a lot less than other places....and they came out great...)...

Detail of statue on the side of Trinity Church, Wall Street.

I'm sad to say I don't know who she is although I've checked their web site and other sites to no avail.

72d Street IRT subway station original entrance at the intersection of Broadway and Amsterdam Avenues. I always liked this design. It's a registered historic place. It's unusual in that it's located on a traffic island. They built a similar one across the street a few years ago to add more stairs/exits. And yes, it was difficult getting a shot without cars or too many people blocking the view.

Thanks for all of the comments on yesterday's photo. I don't get to comment on other's photos as much as I would like, but I do often give a quick thumbs up to many of your photos. I don't know how some of you manage to comment as much as you do. I sure like getting comments though and I appreciate every one! And I really like the comments that tell me how to do something better or different.

Street Photography.

All I want to do is take a shot of this hot dog stand and this woman is blocking me from getting a good shot and looking at me like I'm the Anti-Christ. You have to look at it large to see that she is staring right at me with this strange look. Did she think I was trying to take her picture?

August is over, the tourists are supposed to be gone! But they are always with us in New York.
